The Zenca Self-Sovereignty Quiz
How financially free are you, really?
Most people think they need to understand Bitcoin to understand money.
It’s actually the other way around.
You first need to understand yourself - how you see money, how you use it, and how much control you actually have over it.
Before You Learn Bitcoin, Learn Yourself
When I started exploring Bitcoin back in 2017, I thought the problem was awareness.
That people simply didn’t “get” what Bitcoin was or how it worked.
So I spent the next eight years studying it, investing in it, and explaining it to anyone who was curious - trying to simplify everything there is to know about Bitcoin, blockchain, and crypto.
But somewhere along the way, I realized something deeper.
Most people don’t struggle with understanding Bitcoin.
They struggle with understanding money.
Everyone’s Relationship With Money Is Different
For some, it’s something to fear.
For others, it’s something to chase.
Some hoard it. Some waste it.
Some spend impulsively, others hesitate endlessly.
Everyone’s behavior with money comes from their relationship with it - and that relationship keeps reinforcing the behavior.
So before we talk about Bitcoin, blockchain, or financial freedom, we need to talk about you - how you think, feel, and act when it comes to money.
The First-Principles Approach
Elon Musk talks about thinking from first principles - what he calls “trunk knowledge.”
The idea is simple: before you add new branches of information, you need a strong trunk of understanding.
If the trunk isn’t rooted, every new leaf of knowledge eventually falls away.
That’s exactly how it works with money.
Trying to build financial freedom without grasping its fundamentals is like trying to grow branches without a trunk.
Building that trunk means:
🌱 Understanding what money really is
🪞 Understanding how you relate to it
⚙️ Understanding what you do when you save, spend, or invest
Only when that foundation is in place does Bitcoin - or any financial system - start to make sense.
🧭 Your Self-Sovereignty Check
Before we talk about how to reach financial self-sovereignty,
let’s first see where you are today.
On a scale of 0 to 10, where
0 = “I have zero control over my money,” and
10 = “I am completely self-sovereign,”
where would you place yourself?
Would you want to reach that level of sovereignty one day?
Which parts of money management do you want clarity on?
(Select all that apply)
🧭 What to invest in
⏱️ When to invest
🌍 Where to invest
🧩 How to invest
💰 How much to invest
🎯 Why to invest
🤝 Who to trust
These are not trick questions.
They’re reflection prompts - to help you see where your knowledge ends and your dependence begins.
Because financial sovereignty doesn’t start with Bitcoin.
It starts with you.
🧩 The Zenca Self-Sovereignty Quiz
On a scale of 0 to 10, where
10 means completely self-sovereign in managing your money, and
1 means completely dependent on someone else -
where would you rate yourself today?
And more importantly, where would you want to be?
Most people say they want financial freedom.
But they rarely define what that freedom actually means -
control, confidence, competence, or continuity.
So here are a few questions to reflect on:
1️⃣ Do you know where all your money is - not roughly, but exactly?
2️⃣ If your salary stops tomorrow, how long can you sustain yourself?
3️⃣ Do you know how to move your money - withdraw, invest, or secure it - without needing anyone’s help?
4️⃣ Do you understand how compounding actually works - not as a formula but as behavior?
5️⃣ Do you invest because you researched, or because someone told you to?
6️⃣ Do you know your long-term plan - or just hope the markets behave?
7️⃣ Do you track your spending monthly?
8️⃣ Do you know your actual return on investments?
9️⃣ Do you have a written financial goal?
🔟 And if all systems around you broke down tomorrow, how much of your wealth would you still truly own?
Your honest answers define your real sovereignty score.
If you’re below 6, you’re still learning.
If you’re above 8, you’re on your way.
The goal isn’t perfection.
It’s progress - one layer of understanding at a time.
That’s what Zenca will teach.
